Flytackle NZ Ltd services the Sage Lifetime Warranty on behalf of Sage.We compile and send products off to Sage approximately once every 3 weeks. Flytackle NZ has no influence on any fees that may incur, what's deemed a warranty or repair etc. This is done by the Sage repair team when the products arrives at the Sage factory.

Every new Sage rod, blank and Sage series reel is covered by our lifetime, original owner warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. This warranty is limited to repair and replacement of the rod, blank or reel and does not cover direct, indirect, consequential, incidental or any other type of damage resulting from the use of the product. This warranty does not cover fire, theft, missing rod sections, intentional breakage, modification or customization of the finished rod, or damage during the assembly of a blank into a finished rod.

Warranty coverage on Sage blanks does not extend to any custom work or components added to the blanks. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Sage reserves the right to determine whether to repair or replace any Sage Product covered by this warranty and the right to replace any discontinued models with comparable models when necessary. Colors and components may vary between original and replacement parts.

The lifetime, original owner warranty against defects in materials and workmanship applies to rods with a serial # beginning with the letter "A" and higher, including all double letters (i.e. AA, AB, and AC). Should a breakage occur outside of warranty coverage (when it’s not the result of defects in materials or workmanship) a repair can usually be made for a fee.

PLEASE NOTE: Sage blanks are not serialized. Warranty coverage on rods built from Sage blanks is limited to the blank only. Contact your nearest Sage dealer to make a warranty claim. If this is not practical you may return the product direct to us at the following address:

Please return the entire rod, including the broken part(s), in its original tube or a cardboard tube.

Flytackle NZ is NOT responsible for any losses or damages that happens during shipping. If you are returning a reel, please return the reel in a box. Include with these items a printed version of this form completely filled out and attached to your repair. Use one form for each rod, blank or reel to be repaired.

Please note that all warranty claims and repairs incur a shipping and handling fee.This fee covers the cost of freight plus the service and handling fee that Sage charges us. This fee will change in tact with any changes made by Sage in the US, and varies according to the age of the rod. REDINGTON WARRANTY Redington stands behind the products we make and your satisfaction is important to us. Redington designs gear that performs and gets the most out of your time in the outdoors. We understand the importance of quality gear and you deserve products that perform. If you are not satisfied with any Redington product, you may return the product in accordance with Redington's warranty policy.

ROD WARRANTY Every new Redington rod purchased through an authorized retailer, with the exception of the Crosswater Series and the Minnow and Topo Combos, is covered by our limited, lifetime, original owner warranty. The Crosswater, Minnow and Topo are covered by a one-year warranty against defects in materials or workmanship and must include a dated proof of purchase. This warranty is limited to replacement of the rod only, and does not cover direct, indirect, consequential, incidental or any other type of damage resulting from the use of the product. This warranty does not cover misuse, neglect, normal wear, fire, theft, loss, or intentional damage. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Redington reserves the right to replace any discontinued models with the newer models when necessary. Colors may vary between original and replacement parts. REEL WARRANTY Every new Redington reel purchased through an authorized retailer is covered by a warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. The Crosswater and Path reels are covered for one year. All other reels are covered by a LIMITED, lifetime, original owner warranty. Items returned for warranty must include a dated proof of purchase. This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the reel only, and does not cover direct, indirect, consequential, incidental or any other type of damage resulting from the use of the product. This warranty does not cover misuse, neglect, normal wear, fire, theft, loss, or intentional damage. Redington reserves the right to determine whether to repair or replace any Redington product covered by this warranty and the right to replace any discontinued models with the newer models when necessary. WADERS AND WADING BOOTS WARRANTY Our waders and wading boots are covered by a one-year warranty against defects in material and workmanship. Any claim against this warranty must include a dated proof of purchase. This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the product only, and does not cover direct, indirect, consequential, incidental or any other type of damage resulting from the use of the product. This warranty does not cover misuse, neglect, normal wear, fire, theft, loss, or intentional damage. Redington reserves the right to replace any discontinued models with the newer models when necessary. In order to invoke this warranty, the original owner must send the entire Redington product, freight paid and insured to the address listed below, or drop it off at your nearest Redington dealer. All waders and wading boots must be washed and cleaned prior to sending the product back to Redington.

HOW DO I GET MY REDINGTON PODUCT REPAIRED? In cases where the warranty does not apply, Redington offers a repair service.

Please note: Flytackle NZ service the Redington repair/warranty policy ON BEHALF of Redington. Any warranties offered exceeding the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act is between the manufacturer (Redington) and the consumer. Which means any costs involved in providing this service ON BEHALF will be passed on to the consumer. This would normally mean a handling fee and freight costs. As of January 2022 this cost is NZ$95.00 for all products covered by the Redington warranty.
