Guideline Bullet 2.0 Fly Line
Your choice for a quick loading Streamer or nymph rig fishing. It is virtually unaffected by wind and larger flies, shoots like a bullet, has a great balance and despite the short head it doesn’t collapse during flight. The taper-design reduces any disturbance in the loop and sends the line flying with a minimum of false casts. A 9,25 m long head and a 3,0 meter long, level handling line behind the back taper make the line forgiving and versatile. It will cast far with good control and little effort. Spey casting properties are excellent and the line is super effective when fishing in tight and overgrown rivers. It is also popular in lake or coast situations where room for back cast is a bit restricted.
Bullet 2.0 has a head length of 9,25m/30ft and a total length of 30m/98ft, it is ideally suited for mid-long-range work. The powerful 5,5m/18’ long front taper delivers uncompromised turnover and presentations of all fly types. The belly has the weight concentrated towards the back, to make it an ideal line for streams and smaller to medium sized rivers. It has a 1,8 m/5,9’ back taper that is long enough to stabilize at long range and yet, still short enough to make the line highly suitable for spey casts. The back taper transforms into a comfortable 3,0 meters long ”handling line” before the thinner shooting line kicks in. The handling line is a slightly thicker part of the running line which makes your loops a bit more rigid and also adds flexibility to how much line you can manage in the air when your whole head length is outside the rod tip. It also adds strength to the most vulnerable part of the line that takes a lot of strain when you are double hauling. The sunrise orange colour of the running line extends half way up onto the back taper and indicates the correct line length to keep outside the rod tip for the ultimate rod load when casting. It is looped in both ends and has a laser ID marking on the front-end loop sleeve.
Color: Light Sky Blue /Sunrise Orange. Total length of the line is 30 m/98 feet in all sizes.
TLT (Triple Layer Technology) & Direct Contact Core
Complex, multiple density and hardness in the coatings of these lines help to shape the flylines of the future. A new, revolutionary chemical formula and three different coating materials control hardness as well as memory and density in various parts of the lines. This creates better casting performance, more efficient fishing and bite detection, as well as added durability. TLT has given us the chance to build lines that float well and repel water better and more effectively than any lines we’ve produced before. Built on braided multifilament Direct Contact Core with only 6% stretch.
